Ravelympics - Not My Brightest Idea

One problem that I didn't forsee with Ravelympics was the amount of WIP's that I could register. I registered every one that I found around the house (not counting the ones still hiding), changed a few from "hibernating" to "in progress" in my ravelry project page...and came up with a grand total of...

17.

Scary.

Plus, I cast on last Friday for a pair of socks to work on during our travel weekend (see previous post ship monkey socks) and finished them today at the yarn store. However, I still had 1 1/2 hours before I had to leave. Paging through my Fall IK, I decided to start the Estes Vest. Why? It must have been the concentration of the yarn fumes. I could have just gone home, but I was having too much fun. Swatched for the vest and like usual, I need to go down a needle size.

So, that would really be 18 WIP's. Maybe I should just face facts and realize that I am a multi-project knitter. Why limit myself? (Besides the fact that I need more needles, need more yarn and lose track of things.)

I'm looking forward to tonight, when I can concentrate on my WIP's. The Estes Vest will be put away until afterward.
