I got my first support responses on Thursday after sending out the letters on Monday with a mail holiday in between. It's a bit overwhelming but at the same time it's what needs to happen to help support and fund the trip. Some people at church handed me their responses and I'm not sure how to respond. A simple "thank you" doesn't seem to be enough, but it's a start. I purchased some thank you cards and I had to stop by Hallmark and get some more this morning.
Everyone who has responded so far has committed to pray for the trip! I've also received $895.00 in support, and that's in less than a week. See why I'm a little overwhelmed?
